In this one hour Zoom session we will welcome Katerina Lisenkova and Stuti Saksena from NatWest Group who will discuss multiple challenges facing the world economy at the moment focusing on the impact they will have on the UK companies and households.

Speaker information
Katerina Lisenkova is an Economist at NatWest Group. She joined the bank 4 years ago and helps the bank and our customers to navigate a variety of economic issues. Currently she focuses on developing and implementing climate related scenario analysis and on incorporating climate considerations into banks strategic decision-making process. Katerina has over a decade of economic research, teaching and consulting experience. Her special areas of interest and expertise are climate change, demographic change, public and regional economics. Katerina has PhD in Economics from Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh). Previously she led research teams at the Fraser of Allander Institute and the National Institute of Economic and Social Research.
Stuti Saksena is part of the Economics team at the NatWest Group where she has worked for close to six years. She is involved in scenario design and planning and leads the production of the Bank's economic intelligence. She is also responsible for multiple SME roundtables within the Bank that facilitate cross functional discussions on key economic aspects. Before NatWest, she worked at HSBC Research, covering both global and the Indian economy. With an overall work experience of over 9 years, Stuti has expertise in analysing topical macroeconomic issues and undertaking thematic research. She holds a master's degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge, U.K.
