Sean Williams and Richard Pinder from Leonard Curtis were appointed as Administrators of New View Window Systems Limited (The Company) on 2nd May 2024, having completed the sale of the business and assets, saving 35 jobs.

The Company, located in South Yorkshire and the North West of England, supplied and fitted windows and doors and served a range of clients across the UK for over two decades, filing over £12m turnover in 2022.

The Administrators sold customer contracts, motor vehicles, stock, office equipment, plant, and machinery to Fenestration specialists RV&E Group from North Wales in a pre-pack deal.

Sean Williams commented: “This was a robust business affected by a combination of factors which meant, unfortunately, it was unable to continue trading. Leonard Curtis were engaged after the issuing of a winding up petition and the effective mothballing of the Company. Our team and the fellow professionals who worked in this case, had to work very quickly in difficult circumstances.  Whilst it was unfortunately not possible to save all the jobs of the Company’s work force, we were very pleased to agree on a deal with the directors of RV&E Group which has saved a significant number of jobs.”

David Leng Chairman of RV&E Group said they were delighted with the purchase which would allow them to expand their window and door installation services across the North of England & Wales.

He said: “New View had excellent business assets, good customers, and an experienced workforce established over 20 years. It is a natural fit with our existing window fabrication and installation businesses and will help us deliver ambitious growth plans for the region.”

Members of Andrew Jackson Solicitors' corporate recovery team in York advised on the sale of the Company comprising partner, Azher Quyoom and associate, Grace Moreton.

Azher Quyoom said: “This was a complex and time critical transaction, which required us to negotiate with nine separate secured creditors. By working closely with Leonard Curtis we were able to achieve a more positive outcome and rescue the business whilst saving a considerable number of jobs.
