Leonard Curtis Legal has advised the shareholders of Romix Foods Ltd on the successful sale of the company to AB Mauri UK&I, a division of Associated British Foods plc.
Leigh based Romix Foods, has built a robust reputation for providing high-quality, customised food blending and packing solutions for a diverse client base across the UK and Europe. The company's capabilities have positioned it as a trusted partner for numerous brands in the food sector particularly where there are allergen, religious or health requirements.
The Leonard Curtis Legal team led by director Jennifer Moore with assistance from Kulzinder Garcha (Real Estate), India Lawrenson, Paula Smith and Jenny Fell successfully delivered the transaction including the sale of the purpose built factory.
The acquisition represents a significant strategic alignment for both parties. Romix Foods' facilities and technical expertise complement AB Mauri UK&I’s existing operations and enhance product development and operational efficiencies, while continuing to maintain the high standards of quality and service Romix is known for.
